I read blogs every day. Some are good, some are terrible. It still amazes me though that the ones that are visited frequently, like Marketing Eye’s blog, tend to have information that is relevant to its target audience.
It’s not every day that you get to head down to the beach for an hour and enjoy the sounds of the ocean, the sun beaming on your skin and the fresh air that has a salty scent.
Today, this stylish young woman walked into my office, boldly introduced herself as Marketing Eye’s new intern and proceeded to tell me how enthusiastic she is about working with my firm.

My earliest memory of my birthday is when I was 7 years old and I thought my Mum and Dad had forgotten my birthday. I was devastated.
Opened today’s Sunday papers and I was pleasantly surprised to see Marketing Eye’s ‘product placement’ in the latest Leonardo DiCaprio movie Inception being reported.
I was cutting it fine trying to make a meeting in South Melbourne the other day and low and behold, as I drove through Albert Park Lake, some ducks decided to cross the road really slowly. 5 minutes later, I was back enroute to my meeting with Melbourne’s top recruitment company for IT professionals.
Every day is a learning curve. Whether its on the job, our relationships with people or general life experiences – we all learn and if we don’t then we take a backward step.
Today was an extraordinary day and for me, not in a good way.
My most favourite holiday destination in Australia is Byron Bay. It has everything you could hope for if you enjoy relaxing, the beaches and being at ‘one’ with yourself.
